Elementary Education Society (EES)
The Elementary Education Society (EES) of the University of Santo Tomas is an academic college-based organization. This organization recognizes its role to uphold the pride of Thomasian educators and future educators through a variety of activities that would showcase the abilities, talents, and individuality of each member of EES. It also endeavors to equip future Thomasian educators with the knowledge, skills,and competence through workshops, webinars, and other activities. The organization also seeks to help communities not only in terms of education, but also in terms of taking care of the environment. Additionally, it promotes effective collaboration with different organizations in the University to help and raise communities as well.
VISION
The EES–EDUC, a recognized organization under the guidance of a Catholic institution, envisions itself as a leader in developing innovative thinking, creative skills, global outlook as well as professional and moral formation
through lifelike learning experience, ensuring global competitiveness and social transformation among its members. The EES–EDUC as a community, aims to provide outstanding service to its affiliates inside and outside of the organization to bring the best opportunities of shared growth. EES–EDUC aspires to shape the members in order to become influential and competent citizens in their own significant ways by imbibing the distinguished characteristics that a 21st Century teacher must possess.
MISSION
The EES–EDUC, as a recognized organization, is committed to the Vision-Mission of the University of Santo
Tomas, through committing itself to promote unity, fostering peaceful and harmonious relationship among its members by living its core values of Competence, Commitment and Compassion, as well as regain the lost luster of an elementary teacher as a profession in the Church and community. The EES–EDUC seeks to put all the best pedagogies, attitudes, and ideas into action in order to serve children of various circumstances in the Philippines. The EES– EDUC is dedicated to lead the next generation of Thomasian educators to an honorable path of this humble vocation.
LOGO DESCRIPTION
Our Logo is composed of different elements. The colors (blue, pink, yellow) are our organization’s main colors. Color blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, which can be associated with future educators like us. The color pink associates with tenderness and nurturing while conveying a sense of safety which is one of the key factors of being a professional teacher. The students need to feel that they are secured and are being taken care of. The color yellow is associated with success and confidence. Yellow stimulates the left side of the brain, helping with clear thinking and quick decision-making.There are three arrows in the middle of the circle, each arrow symbolizes the different key factors of education which are a teacher, student, and the parents. All arrows face the middle which represents our goal as teachers to touch more lives and to be efficient in what we do. It also symbolizes our organization’s three core values namely, passion, selflessness, and competence. The circle around it, represents the teamwork of each member in the organization.

“Welcome to sEESame Street!: Fostering Growth through Bridging Connections” was a general assembly organized by the Elementary Education Society which provided an opportunity for the members of the organization to build lasting relationships and promote camaraderie to create a better Elementary Education Department community.==EDUCNET: Maximizing Technological Tools during Pandemic==
EDUCNET: Maximizing Technological Tools during Pandemic was a community development webinar that provided the members of the organization and the partner communities of UST Simbahayan the knowledge on the use of technology for effective teaching and learning. Pre-recorded video tutorials about assessment tools and digital instructional materials were also presented by student volunteers from the organization.==HeroEES in Action Volume 3: Educators as Storytellers==
HeroEES in Action Volume 3: Educators as Storytellers was a community development project that promoted online storytelling for the literacy learning of very young learners. It provided the members of the organization and the partner communities of UST Simbahayan strategies in online storytelling through the sharings of a storyteller and a teacher who served as resource speakers.

Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS)
The Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS) is a recognized college-based organization from the University of Santo Tomas which exists to provide various quality experiences and projects for the Thomasian community to recognize the individuality and uniqueness of every person, fostering compassion for diverse peoples. It aims to promote and nurture advocacies championing diversity and inclusion, guided by the commitment to creating a space where no one is left behind. GuTS empowers itself and its advocates to anchor these experiences in support of achieving quality education through academic excellence, bound to the holistic formation of competent educators-in-the-making who are one with the Church and various communities.
VISION
The Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS) stands as a representative of a Catholic institution, through the University of Santo Tomas, and seeks to develop respect, acceptance, and belongingness into the society, most especially to the Thomasian community through projects that invest in opportunities for lifelong learning and professional and moral formation. GuTS envisions a generation of advocates who are active in social transformation by supporting different organizations that advocate people with special needs within the university and beyond.
MISSION
The Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS) is a recognized student organization from the University of Santo Tomas that commits itself in bringing Special Needs Education (SNED) students together to fully appreciate and understand their chosen field through meaningful, worthwhile, and enjoyable activities devoted to the furtherance and development of the whole SNED student body; in promoting active advocacy to different organizations, colleges, and faculties inside the university by providing projects anchored to inclusive principles and the Thomasian core values of competence, commitment, and compassion; and in forming educators and leaders dedicated to serve people from all walks of life, both in the Church and the community.
LOGO DESCRIPTION
The logo/seal of the Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS), represented by a flower-shaped base with five (5) petals symbolizes the joy and happiness the organization aims to imbibe within itself and its members. As future Special Education educators, we embody a great sense of optimism and cheerfulness to motivate, challenge and teach with joy our future students with special needs. The five (5) petals likewise create an abstract human form, representing the collaborative efforts of the administration, faculty members, Thomasian community and the Special Needs Education students towards the betterment of the pre-service practices in the field and in working together to promote inclusion and diversity for people with special needs.
